Air Scrubber

Air scrubbers are also know as air purification or contamination removal units. These units scrubber the air before releasing to atmosphere by passing through special types of media. The media removes the odor, absorbs gas and contamination out of the affected air so it is safe and pleasant for reuse. There are different type of air scrubber unit available like vertical packaged system, vertical tube system, vertical bed system and drum scrubbers. We have designed and built multiple panels to control and monitor these units. Generally the control panels controls the fan motor, pre-heater coils, damper actuators, photohelic gauges and filter monitor gauges. Some time special pressure switches are used to monitor the air flow, dirty filter conditions, mist and grease. In lot of cases we use variable frequency to control the fan speed to maintain a certain air flow or adjustable level of flow. If the speed control is a requirement then we use soft starters for smooth operation of the motor and fan which really help to reduce the wear and tear of any rotating parts like bearings, belts, shafts and fans. As these panels mostly work within buildings so the panel need to communicate to building management systems via special protocols.
