Belt Winder Control Panel

The belt mentioned in belt winder control panel heading is the one used on heavy and big conveyors which carries bitumen, aggregate, bulk materials or recycling materials. The belt winder skid is a portable or fixed skid system which includes a belt winder roller, gear box, control panel and heavy pulleys and idlers. It is used to wind and unwind the belts for various reasons like replacement, repair, storage or inspections. We designed and built few panel for similar applications where the winder is driven a heavy duty constant torque variable frequency drive. The variable frequency drive programming is customized for this application and it winds the belt at constant linear speed even when the winder radius get bigger as the belt winds around it.
